Registering as a New Patient:
All our new patients require a comprehensive Oral Health Screening, x-rays, confidential medical questionnaire and possibly photographs to analyse the structure of the patients face and smile. Dental charting along with a detailed gum examination and oral cancer screening are also carried out. This appointment is designed to gain as much information as possible and to establish what the patient would like to achieve. Patients are encouraged to bring a list of questions and concerns regarding their particular expectations. Both dentist and patient will decide together on the most appropriate treatment to achieve a healthy and natural smile.
Initial Consultation
You can expect your first visit to the practice to take approximately 30 minutes. The fee will be £73.00 inclusive of x-rays. At the end of the consultation appointment you will know what treatment is required to achieve optimum dental health and what cosmetic procedures, if any, are recommended. An appointment will be arranged to start treatment if you decide to proceed with the agreed treatment plan.
We do not always need to see you on a six monthly basis. Once your dental hygiene routine is stable your reminders will be tailored and set at intervals suitable to your dental health and treatment needs.
